The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate or incomplete information.

You acknowledge and agree that any AI-Generated Content or Output produced by the Service is generated through probabilistic machine learning models. As such, AI-Generated Content may contain inaccuracies, errors, omissions, or reflect biases present in the underlying data or algorithms. Teacher's PET collects certain types of data when you visit our Website or use our Services. We are committed to minimizing the collection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) to only what is necessary to provide and improve our Services. We collect PII only from educators who create an account to access and use Teacher's PET administrative tools, platform features (such as the Rubric Builder and Chatbot Creator), and related services.

  • Student-Facing "PAL" Chat: The student-facing "PAL" chat feature is designed to be used without requiring students to create an account or provide any PII. Teacher's PET will never ask to collect PII through the student-facing PAL chat interface. PII disclosed, voluntarily, by users through their prompting or chats will be deleted once discovered by periodic human reviewing during our data cleaning, aggregation and system performance reviews.

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the original content You create, upload, submit, or otherwise provide to the Service ("Educator Content"). This includes, for example, lesson plans You draft, prompts You author, and other teaching materials You develop and input into the Service.

By accessing, registering for, downloading, or using any part of the Service, You signify Your unconditional agreement to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including individual educators, schools, school districts, or other educational organizations ("Educational Institutions"), and students who are authorized to use the Service by an Educational Institution or parent/guardian in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT, AND ALL MATERIALS, INFORMATION, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES INCLUDED THEREIN, ARE PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

Also, about Beta Testing and Early Access Software

Teacher's PET is an evolving platform and  may launch new or redesigned parts of our platform or specific tools (collectively, the "Service") that require a period of testing and improvement before they are offered as a standard part of the Service ("Beta Service"). A "BETA" label or similar designation will typically be displayed on or in connection with such a Beta Service to indicate it is being tested. While many Beta Services may be offered free of charge, Teacher's PET reserves the right to offer certain Beta Services as paid features.

Your use of any Beta Service is subject to these Terms of Service and any additional terms or guidelines that Teacher's PET may, in its sole discretion, specify for that Beta Service.

Use of a Beta Service is permitted only for the period designated by Teacher's PET. Teacher's PET reserves the right to modify or terminate a Customer’s access to a Beta Service at any time and for any reason, in Teacher's PET’s sole discretion, without liability to the Customer. In the event a paid Beta Service is terminated by Teacher's PET prior to the end of a designated period for which a Customer has paid, the Customer may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of the Beta Service.

The Customer understands and acknowledges that any pre-release software and Beta Services are still under development. As such, they may be inoperable or incomplete and are likely to contain more errors, bugs, or design flaws than generally available, fully released products and services. Functionality, features, and performance may also change.

Teacher's PET makes no promises or guarantees that any Beta Service will ever be made generally available as a permanent part of the Service. Teacher's PET may, in its sole discretion, discontinue Beta Services at any time.

Except as otherwise expressly provided in these Terms of Service or any specific security documentation provided by Teacher's PET, Teacher's PET is providing any Beta Service to the Customer "as is." Teacher's PET makes no warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, with respect to Beta Services. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Teacher's PET disclaims all obligations or liabilities with respect to Beta Services, including but not limited to any support and maintenance obligations, and any warranty or indemnity obligations.

Certain Teacher's PET subscription plans, such as institutional or enterprise-level accounts (if offered), may provide Customers with the option to opt out of participating in certain Beta Services. Details regarding such opt-out capabilities will be provided in the terms specific to those plans.
